The Yusuf Islam Foundation is a UK-based charitable organisation and umbrella body established by the educator and philanthropist Yusuf Islam (formerly Cat Stevens). Founded in 2009 through the amalgamation of the Islamia Schools Trust and the Waqf al Birr Educational Trust, the Foundation is dedicated to the furtherance of Islamic education and community development. It oversees a prestigious cluster of schools in North London, including the UK’s first voluntary-aided Muslim primary school and two high-performing independent secondary colleges. The Foundation integrates academic excellence with Islamic values, consistently ranking among the top educational providers in the Borough of Brent.
