Junior King's School

Junior King's School maintains an academically selective admissions policy. Prospective students are required to participate in an assessment or taster day as part of the application procedure. For children entering at the Nursery or Reception levels, these evaluations are play-based and informal. Students applying for older year groups, such as Year 3 or Year 7, undergo more formal assessments, typically involving tests in English and Mathematics. Final decisions on enrolment are based on the results of these assessments alongside a confidential reference from the candidate's existing school. It is important to note that moving from the Junior School to the Senior School is not guaranteed and requires meeting further assessment criteria.
