Lorenden Prep is a co-educational day school and nursery for children aged 3 to 11, located in the village of Painter's Forstal near Faversham. Prospective pupils for the Prep Department, aged 7 to 11, may be required to sit an entrance test covering mathematics along with verbal and non-verbal reasoning to assess their suitability for the school's academic curriculum and 11+ preparation. For entry into the Pre-Prep, children typically attend for a half-day visit which must be deemed successful, while those joining the Prep Department spend a full day at the school for observations and assessments.
