Prospective students must have a formal diagnosis of dyslexia as their primary special educational need to be eligible for admission. The selection process includes a detailed review of specialist reports, such as those from educational psychologists or speech and language therapists, as well as previous school records. Additionally, candidates are required to attend a minimum of two taster days, during which staff observe the child to ensure they are a suitable fit for the peer group and that the school can meet their specific requirements.
