Blackheath High School GDST

Admission to the school is based on success in various assessments depending on the point of entry. For Reception (4+), children participate in play-based group activities that allow staff to observe their early literacy and numeracy skills. Entry to the Junior School at Year 3 (7+) involves formal examinations in English and Mathematics, alongside an interview. For the Senior School at Year 7 (11+), prospective pupils must sit entrance exams in English, Mathematics, and Reasoning, and attend a personal interview. Candidates joining at Year 9 (13+) are assessed in English, Mathematics, and a Modern Foreign Language, followed by an interview.
