Bromley High School GDST

Bromley High School GDST is an academically selective institution. For entry at Reception (4+), children participate in an informal group session involving play and low-key activities to observe social interaction and school readiness. Candidates for Year 3 (7+) and Year 6 (10+) entry complete formal assessments in English and Mathematics. For the main Senior School entry point at Year 7 (11+), applicants sit a cognitive abilities test (CAT4) evaluating verbal, non-verbal, spatial, and quantitative reasoning, in addition to papers in creative writing and mathematics. The school also requires a reference from the applicant's current headteacher and conducts individual interviews as part of the selection process.
